L.A. Sunset - Cocktail Recipe

Wondering how to make L.A. Sunset? Cocktail Builder will help!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz of amaretto almond liqueur (alt: almond liqueur)
  • 1 1/2 oz of jagermeister herbal liqueur
  • 1 1/2 oz of Triple Sec
  • 1 1/2 oz of pineapple rum
  • 5 1/2 oz of Pineapple Juice
  • 0.15 oz of amaretto di saronno liqueur
  • 1/2 oz of full pulp orange juice (alt: naked juice mighty mango smoothie)

Instructions

Add the Jagermeister, amaretto, triple sec, pineapple rum, and the Di Saronno (0.15 oz is an estimate, just use a small amount, mainly for color) to a collins glass. Swirl the ingredients together until mixed. Fill the remaining volume of the glass with pineapple juice and full pulp orange juice poured in the center of the glass.

If poured correctly the ingredients should mix so that the drink has an overall yellow/orangeish-brown color with the brown occupying the lower three-quarters of the collins glass. No extra mixing should be necessary. The pulp of the Orange Juice should swirl in the brown region of the drink giving it an overall 'smoggy' appearance, not unlike a Los Angeles Sunset.
